CCA GRADING SCHEME FOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS LEAPSis the acronym for: L EADERSHIP E NRICHMENT A CHIEVEMENT P ARTICIPATION S ERVICE | LEAPS | How are points awarded? | Maximum Points | | Leadership | - Points are awarded for leadership roles performed.
| 12 | | Enrichment | - Points are awarded for completing the Character Development Programmes modules.
- Pupils are encouraged to Complete 2 modules from each domain i.e. Leadership, Citizenship and Personal and Social.
| 3 | | Achievement | - Representation points are awarded to pupils who represent the school in inter-school competitions.
- Achievement points are awarded to pupils who win awards at inter-school, national or international competitions.
- Attainment points are awarded to pupils in the Uniformed Groups who attain ranks and other pupils who attain awards of non-competitive type. E.g. NYAA.

- Points are also awarded for participation in intra-school activities, SYF Opening Ceremony and National Day Parade.

SCHOOL POLICY ON CCA PARTICIPATION
- Every pupil must participate actively in one of the core CCAs offered by the school.
- Pupils may participate in another CCA only if approved by the HOD CCA/ Sports Secretary.
- Participation has to be continuous throughout the 4/5 years of secondary school course.
- CCA marks will be scored by each pupil according to level of involvement every year.
- CCA grades awarded to pupils at the end of their 4/5 years of secondary school course will be based on the marks accumulated.
