Floorball, a type of floor hockey, is an indoor team sport which was developed in the 1970s. The game is played indoors on a gym floor, making it a year-round sport at the amateur and professional levels.
It is a relatively new CCA in Canberra Secondary School -- our first Floorball team was formed in 2008. Now, we have both boys' and girls' teams, and we participate annually in inter-school B and C Division games.
Our Floorball teams are continuously seeking to improve their skills, through rigorous training sessions with professional coaches, participation in competitions, as well as engaging in friendly matches with teams from other schools.
